Neem Beauty

Neem oil comes from the seed of the tropical neem tree known as Indian lilac. Neem oil has a wide history of use as a folk remedy around the world and used to treat many conditions.

It’s high in fatty acids and other nutrients so it’s used in a variety of beauty products as well as cosmetics.

There has been some or very small sample size research supporting Neem oil in skin care although this was not carried out on humans.

In treating acne, use undiluted Neem oil to spot treat ONLY affected areas. Dab a small amount of Neem oil onto the area using a cotton swab or cotton ball. Let soak for up to 20 minutes. Wash off oil with warm water.

For larger areas or people with sensitive skin, mix with an equal amount of a carrier oil such as jojoba, grape seed or coconut oil.

Feeling Sexy Epilating

We all want permanent results when it comes to hair removal and most, of not all, believe that IPL, Laser &/or Electrolysis will solve all our problems. Although this may somewhat be correct for some, it doesn’t work for all. Electrolysis, has a 99% success rate for any type of hair, colour or skin although it is very expensive. Although not 100% sure but is the most expensive from all the hair removal methods.

There are quite a few reasons for wanting our hair removed yet the one topic I have not discussed, up until now is sex! Well, most will and have asked, “what are the benefits to removing pubic hair” or “do guys like it when women have no hair down there”? Another one which comes up often in conversation is “does it hurt when removing public hair”?

Guess what, I am going to answer these questions and if you have any more, feel free to leave a comment below . . .

Q. What are the benefits in removing Public Hair?
A. It feels good, smooth to touch and for some, making themselves feel better physically, mentally and emotionally.

Some find that they sweat less and feeling cooler than having hair there, covered up with underwear, then clothing. I guess, it is one less layer so to speak.

Another added benefit is the spread of STD’s and pubic lice. Back in the 80’s and 90’s, this was very common. Fast forward to now and quite common to have a Brazillian or Manzillian, this will if not has, eliminated this of happening. Its quite rare as there is no hair to begin with.

The downside being, it is very normal for hair to grow and is a natural part of our reproductive working and functioning bodies. There is the added benefit of pubic hair protecting the fine, delicate skin around that area also.

Q. Do guys (or partner) love it when women remove all their pubic hair?
A. There is always the feeling of touch, arousal, foreplay and of sensuality between couples when engaging in sexual activity. Again, being bare down there, does have benefits for all partners concerned.

Q. Does it hurt when removing pubic hair?
A. The first time . . . yes it does ALTHOUGH it is not as bad as you think!

If anything, it is more so the anxiety, knowing that you are wanting to wax or epilate yet not know what to expect let alone knowing that it will hurt.

The whole process to wax or epilate that particular area should be around 15-20 minutes total. That does NOT mean that it is 15-20 minutes of total pain. It actually MEANS that once you epilate, the pain only exists for 30-40 seconds if that for that area. THEN ITS DONE and COMPLETE!

Men’s Epilating and Shaving

There are a lot of men who are have shown interest in hair removal and although there are quite a few alternatives, my most common response is to Wax!

The other ones which may be more appealing is IPL or Laser hair removal although this can be quite expensive. Other than waxing which can be in the privacy of your own home or done by a professional, other wise an epilator.

Now, an epilator does hurt for the first time, depending on your pain threshold. I have also mentioned before that if you have hair long hair, it should to lessen the pain somewhat before epilating itself. I would note that if you are going to epilate, consider waxing a few times before epilating.

I will provide you with my link here ABOUTWAXING and ABOUTEPILATING to further explore your options and the DO’s and DONT’s.

How to Epilate Legs?

Getting Ready:
  1. Epilating is a good alternative to shaving or waxing as it pulls out the hairs by the root. You are same results as waxing yet not having to waiting until the hair becomes a certain length. Learning the technique and you will get the minimal amount of discomfort with lasting results.
  2. Choosing a quality epilator matters. Picking a known brand as well as a well reviewed product is a good indicator. Your epilator will last a long time as well as being your next best friend.
Before Starting:
  1. Using an epilator that is cordless, be sure that it’s charged before you begin.
  2. Trimming your hair on your legs or shaving is best before you decide to epilate. Epilators work best when your hair is 0.5mm long so its best to do this 3-4 before your epilate or using a more expensive brand, will have the attachment. This will be easier to go over the area first before epilating.
  3. Set your self a time of roughly an hours for your first time. Once you are familiar with the progress, it will take around 30 to 45 minutes depending on what areas you are going to epilate. Its definitely slower than shaving but the end result will last much longer.
  4. Picking a time of day will depend on you and what you feel more comfortable with. If you are planning on doing this first thing in the morning, you legs may turn out a little tender or red. It will return to normal after a few hours.
  5. Deciding to epilate wet or dry does have its pro’s and con’s. Feeling the heat from the water, enables your pores to open, making the process less painful. Choosing to epilate dry allows the epilator to grasp the hairs, giving you a smooth and silky finish.
Lets begin:
  1. Epilators usually come with two settings – low and high. When using an epilator for the 1st time, set it on low until you are comfortable with the sensation, then switching it over to high to speed up the process.
  2. Begin with the lower part of the leg first as this is the least sensitive. As with waxing, this is the most common place to start. Hold the epilator close to the skin yet not too hard. Move the epilator over your skin in an upward stroke, against the hair growth. To make is easier for an epilator to grasp your hair, run you hand against the grain of your hair growth, making you hair stand up.
  3. You may need to go over the area slower or once again to make sure you get all the hair.
  4. Once finished, make sure you moisturise your legs. Using an Aloe Vera gel or essential oil will soothe the legs. Once the tenderness or redness is gone, your legs will be completely smooth.
Once Complete:
  1. Once finished, make you sure you clear your epilator after use. Using a wet epilator, you are able to rince this under running water. Using a dry epilator, you are able to clean it with the cleaning kit provided.
  2. As you are well aware, hair growth grows in stages so new growth may begin to appear after the 1st few days. The benefit of having an epilator is that you are able to go over the hair again rather than waiting for 3-4 weeks like you do with waxing.
  3. You are decide when you are wanting to touch up any areas or wait until your next epilating session. After several months, you will find that hair growth will be more finer and touch ups less frequent.
  4. Epilators can you used on other areas of your body as well as the more sensitive areas.
